She had recently obtained an Associate's Degree in Technical Communications from Oklahoma State University/OKC, graduating Phi Theta Kappa, and was working on a four-year degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. She was a budding artist who had already held art shows in Oklahoma City's Paseo Arts District. She loved her parents, two brothers, boyfriend, childhood friends, dogs, and her '74 Chevy Nova.

$1,500 to a handful of good students from Oklahoma with a positive outlook on life.

a 501 (c) (3) public charity, and is registered with the Oklahoma Secretary of State.
